about Dr. wei

Dr. Adrienne Wei, DACM, specializes in women's reproductive health.

She is the founder of Inner Peace Acupuncture in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she has practiced since 2010, and the creator of the Practically Fertile® methodology.

Her clinical work integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine with Functional Medicine principles to identify the root patterns driving fertility and reproductive health challenges.

This integrated approach allows her to address women’s health cases deemed "unexplained" or “difficult” by conventional medicine by reading the connections among cycle patterns, hormonal data, and underlying physiological imbalances that single-modality practitioners often miss.

Dr. Wei holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science, and an M.S. in Traditional Oriental Medicine from the same institution. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), a Board-Certified Fertility Acupuncture Specialist, a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, and a Certified Functional Nutritionist. She also holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, an unconventional academic foundation that has shaped her precise, systems-based approach to clinical reasoning.

Through Inner Peace Acupuncture and the Practically Fertile® Academy, Dr. Wei has worked with thousands of women in person and virtually, navigating unexplained infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, complex endocrine conditions, and IVF procedures.

Patients describe her as direct, deeply attentive, and uncommonly warm - a combination that has built a loyal following in her clinical practice and across her virtual programs.

Dr. Wei is available for podcast interviews, speaking engagements, and editorial features on integrative women's health, reproductive medicine, and clinical methodology.
